Hamburger Helper Gives Back and A Giveaway

While many of us are preparing feast that will be enjoyed tonight to celebrate New Year Eve there are hundreds of others that are worrying about what their next meal will be. Approximately 5.7 million individuals receive emergency food from the group Feed America any given week. To help raise awareness about the national issue of hunger, Hamburger Helper is partnering with Tim McGraw to help Feeding America deliver millions of meals to local food banks through the Show Your Helping Hand campaign.

I so love to see when musicians, athletes, and others use their popularity to help a cause that helps others. I was so happy to see that the Grammy Award winner Tim McGraw one of my favorite singers/actors take a stand against hunger. McGraw has lent his voice to the campaign through a Public Service Announcement through a Public Service Announcement which will be distributed nationwide. We can also support the campaign by submitting codes from specially marked boxes of Hamburger Helper at www.showyourhelpinghand.com or by logging on to make a donation. Through this program Hamburger Helper who has all ready donated half a million dollars will donate up to an additional 100,000 to Feeding America through this program.
